02What we collect and why

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Where GDPR applies, we process this data to perform our contract with you and, for usage data, on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the service.
03Photos and AI
Photos are processed by systems we operate, or by service providers acting on our instructions under contract, to produce your analysis and any AI-generated renders or reels. Generated imagery is a synthetic derivative of your photo and is labelled as AI-generated. Your photos are not used to train models.
04Retention and deletion
- Photos you do not save are processed and then discarded. Saved checks and their photos are kept in your private library until you delete them.
- Deleting a check removes it and its photo. Deleting your account (Account → Delete account) permanently removes your photos, profile, history, wardrobe, and subscription records. This cannot be undone.
- Payment records are retained by the payment processor for as long as tax and accounting law require.

We never see or store card numbers. Some processors are in the United States; transfers rely on standard contractual safeguards. Product links may be affiliate links: the retailer or network receives the click only, never your profile or photos.
06Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access controls that limit each account to its own data. Generated images pass automated safety screening before they are shown to you.
07Age
LovPersona is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger and delete it if we learn we have.
08Your rights
Depending on where you live (PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR and UK GDPR in Europe, CCPA and CPRA in California) you may access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, and complain to your local supervisory authority. Most of this is self-serve in the app; for anything else email hello@lovpersona.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
09Changes
Material changes are announced in-app or by email before they take effect. The date above always reflects the current version.
